Your mission

We are a young, dynamic software engineering team specialising in space systems - and we are growing steadily. This growth comes with an increasing number of exciting projects, where we need your support as an embedded software engineer (d/f/m).

Here you can expect exciting projects, modern technologies and the chance to develop hardware-oriented solutions for the space industry in an agile environment with flat hierarchies.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing hardware-oriented software for embedded systems with a focus on real-time operating systems (e.g. RTEMS, Embedded Linux).
  • Requirements analysis and technical conception, including the creation of requirements specifications, architectures (e.g. UML) and technical documentation.
  • Ensuring code quality through testing, code reviews and the application of best practices.
  • Verification and validation (V&V) of the software, from implementation through to release.
  • Collaboration in agile Scrum teams - working closely with colleagues from development, testing and project management.

Your profile

  • At least 2 years of working experience and a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • Good Knowledge of software development in C, C++ or Rust, and experience with bus systems (e.g. SpaceWire, UART, CAN, Ethernet, etc.), ideally working to standards (e.g. ECSS).

  • (Good) Knowledge of Git and CI/CD.
  • An independent, structured working style combined with team spirit, excellent English and good German language skills.

What we offer

  • A gross annual salary of €65k - €75 for a 38-hour full-time position, depending on your previous experience, and flexible working hours with up to 60% remote work
  • A small but excellent team without unnecessary overhead, with short lines of communication and the opportunity to create real added value
  • 32 vacation days that you don’t have to request a year in advance
  • 2 out of 3 benefits: Jobrad, company fitness (Wellpass) or Deutschland Ticket; as well as a company pension plan
